Jimese Lightfoot
Owner/Executive Director
Jimese is the owner of Helping Out People Environments. She’s a native of Macon, Georgia. She graduated high school from Northeast High School, Albany State University where she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration with a Concentration in Business Management and her Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Fort Valley State University. Jimese is the mother of one daughter, Kenadi Lauren Lightfoot and Dallas the man dog of the house. Jimese has been working in this field for over 20 years. Jimese is responsible for all of the administrative, day services, in home supports and financial operations of the agency.

Michael Washington
Owner/Director of Residential Services
Michael Washington is the co-owner of Helping Out People Environments. He’s a native of Milledgeville, Georgia. He graduated from Baldwin High School where he received a full football scholarship to the University of South Carolina (Gamecocks). Michael entered in the draft and played professionally until his injury. Michael has been working with people with intellectual disabilities for over 24 years. He is responsible for all of the residential and host home daily operations. He is the husband of Nicole Washington and the father of two children, Michaela & Michael Jr.
