Jimese Lightfoot

Owner/Executive Director

Jimese is the owner of Helping Out People Environments. She’s a native of Macon, Georgia. She graduated high school from Northeast High School, Albany State University where she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration with a Concentration in Business Management and her Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Fort Valley State University. Jimese is the mother of one daughter, Kenadi Lauren Lightfoot. Jimese has been working in this field for over 16 years. Jimese is responsible for all of the administrative, day services, in home supports and financial operations of the agency.

Michael Washington

Owner/Director of Residential Services

Michael Washington is the co-owner of Helping Out People Environments. He’s a native of Milledgeville, Georgia. He graduated from Baldwin High School where he received a full football scholarship to the University of South Carolina (Gamecocks). Michael entered in the draft and played professionally until his injury. Michael has been working with people with intellectual disabilities for over 20 years. He is responsible for all of the residential and host home daily operations. He is the husband of Nicole Washington and the father of two children, Michaela  & Michael Jr. 

Timothy Fields 

Accreditation Coordinator

Timothy works directly with the people supported to make sure they are living a positive and meaningful life. Our agency is accreditation through The Council on Quality and Leadership. Tim makes sure that we are always meeting the person supported basic assurances as well as the 21 Personal Outcome Measures. If you are a parent and are interested in allowing your son/daughter to be a part of our agency, Tim can tell you the dynamic activities and safety measures we take to keep our people supported safe and excited at all times.

Devin Dunlap

Human Resource Manager

Devin is a native of Manchester, Georgia. He graduated and attended Fort Valley State University. After attending Fort Valley State University, he enlisted in the United States Army. Devin has been employed with Helping Out People Environments for over 10 years (our very first employee). Devin is responsible for staffing, employee compensation and benefits, and defining/designing work. Essentially, he is responsible to maximize the productivity of an organization by optimizing the effectiveness of its employees.

Ashley Harpe

DDP Case Manager

DDP Day Program Case Manager: Ashley Harpe, graduate of Fort Valley State University, B.A. Psychology

The DDP Day Program Case Manager is responsible for attending all individual ISP meetings, keeping the agency in compliance with Medicaid and training staff on Medicaid documentation procedures for day services.

Saterial Willis

CLS Coordinator

CLS Coordinator is responsible for attending all individual ISP meetings, keeping the agency in compliance with Medicaid and training staff on Medicaid documentation procedures in the CLS Department. She’s also responsible for working closely with our parents and nurses for all 90 days visits.

Residential Coordinators

Residential Coordinators are responsible for the upkeep of all residential locations. They are responsible for keeping them healthy and safe at all times. The residential coordinator trains all new staff to be person-centered at all times with our residents.
